Angie P. – Bio

Angie was born in Hong Kong, raised in Singapore, and lived in the U.S., Japan, and Australia before returning to Hong Kong. While she was in the U.S., she helped produce two features shot in Los Angeles – Night Before The Wedding and Goodbye Promise, along with other producing work for lifestyle and film stories in other U.S. cities. She started her acting career after being cast as Tybalt in a stage production of Romeo and Juliet in the U.S. Since then, she toured with a traveling multimedia theatre production that dealt with social issues, such as racial discrimination, history, and sexism. Along with appearances in short films, TVCs and modeling shoots, other stage performances followed after she returned to Hong Kong, including roles in The Vagina Monologues, Den of Thieves, and #HKProblems_ThePlay. In 2012, Angie wrote, produced and starred in Fast Love (co- produced with Joe Fiorello), which won the grand prize in the One2Free Microfilm Contest that year. She then produced and starred in the short film version of Love Stalk before developing it into the current feature film version. Recently, the three microfilms she wrote and directed – The Key Hunt, New Start, Beyond 24, have been receiving great feedback in both Hong Kong and China.
